Excellent support tool to help children learn their multiplication facts involving numbers up to 12. A separate section is included for each number with engaging visuals, child friendly tips from "student" helpers for select numbers, and practice tests for each number at the end of each number track. There are a total of 15 tracks: one information track for parents and teachers, one track that discusses math terms and properties, and 13 tracks for numbers zero through twelve (each number track can be accessed directly for targeted practice for classroom or individual use). Voice used for narration and accompanying background music are classroom friendly and sensory sensitive.

Numbers are shown in both vertical and horizontal formats to help children build a familiarity with both presentation styles. Emphasis is on the development of rote memory skills although patterns found in times tables and other math concepts are briefly discussed.

Teaching section includes templates that can be displayed on interactive whiteboards for classroom discussions, as well as discussions on how to help students with individual learning needs or styles. Separate section also discusses the different multiplication terms (e.g. factors and products) and introduces properties such as the zero property, identity property, commutative property and associative property.

Steps4Kids to Multiply also introduces multiplication of double digit numbers by single digit numbers to help students develop their skills for higher math.

Recommended: 2nd - 3rd Grade, Special Needs, and Homeschooling.

Awards & Recognition: "ALL STAR" 3 star endorsement from the Coalition for Quality Children's Media/Kids First!, "DVD of the YEAR" and "Seal of Excellence" from Creative Child Magazine.
