The Life We Never Expected ~ Review and Giveaway ~ #FlyBy #lifeweneverexpected

ABOUT THE BOOK:
What do you do when hard or painful circumstances turn your world upside down,
resulting in a life you never expected? Andrew and Rachel Wilson grappled with this
question after both of their children were diagnosed with regressive autism.
Refreshingly honest, this book explores the highs and lows of raising children with
specials needs, reflecting on the broader question of how to cope with suffering of
all kinds. Sharing personal stories from their lives and encouragement rooted in the
truth of God’s Word, Andrew and Rachel highlight lessons they’ve learned related to
fighting for joy and thriving in the midst of trials—ultimately pointing readers to
Christ, the One who promises to make all things new.

What a great book! Andrew and Rachel’s surprise journey with their two autistic children opened the door to knowing God and his ways more deeply. Weeping, worshiping, waiting, witnessing, and breathing. These are the constant rhythms of my life. In a striking display of honesty, depth and grace thru everything, Andrew and Rachel Wilson explore the tension of faith and reality in this moving book. What a beautiful perspective on the power of God to truly redeem the story. God brings about a new normal in their life here on Earth. The Wilsons lead their readers to hope, contentment, and joy. If your heart is in need of healing, you need to read this book. I liked the book so much that I passed it on to a friend:)

I have 4 kids, and the thought of this happening to them is terrifying. I'm interested to know what happens.
