The movie was hard to watch. I remember watching Glen Campbell when I was younger. The movie shows Cambell going to the dr and then following him doing shows and how Alzheimer’s disease is effecting him and his family. It is a great drama that shows the great bond between him and his wife Kim and how much they trully care for each other I'll Be Me shows just how much they would not give up against all odds. It is a wonderful and touching movie!

Dinosaur World~ Glen Rose, Texas ~ Review!!

Hey Gang!!
If you have kiddos that love Dinosaurs then 
I have just the place for you to visit!!
It is Called Dinosaur World!!

The kiddos and I took a short vacation this summer and one of our stops was 

Dinosaur World located in Glen Rose, TX.

Glen Rose is about an hour from Dallas and is known as the Dino capital of Texas!

Even the local grocery store and motel had Dino signs..lol

From the time you walk in the doors of the 5,000 square foot gift shop till the time you leave you will see and experience so much about Dinosaurs!

note: I am not going to post that many pics from our visit because you have to visit 

for yourself to see everything there is to see:)

Dinosaur World has over 150 LIFE SIZE dinosaurs to view and learn about!

Each creature has their own info stone that has their name and general info about each of them.

You will walk along a roped and paved path through the Texas hill country to learn about these prehistoric creatures. There so many different Dino's every where!

I still wonder what they were looking at :)

My kids had fun unearthing a life size dinosaur skeleton in the Boneyard.

For the younger kids, they can sift through sand at the Fossil Dig and find 

authentic fossils to take home with them.

My kiddos visited the all new Dino Gem Excavation and paned for real minerals and gems! 

That they got to KEEP!!

You will see MANY fossils and skeletons in the Prehistoric Museum.

 There is also a HUGE play ground area for the little ones to play in!! There is great  picnic area to have a lunch. There are no restaurants at Dino world so coolers are welcome! There are drink machines available. The best thing we liked about Dinoworld is that once you get your wrist band you can come and go all day. MY kids liked Dinoworld so much we went back later in the day for another tour:) We wanted to make sure we saw everything..lol

My kids had different things they liked about our visit to Dino world. 
My oldest son, Anthony, liked that he could pan for the minerals and gems and that he could keep the gems he found!
My daughter Jessica liked that there were so many Dino's! There were different ones around every corner.
My youngest son, Andy, liked every Dino he saw. He said they looked like they were about to eat him..lol

DinoWorld is so much fun! Its a great place for school trips, birthday parties or any special vacation!!

I love the idea of having to search for their gifts and follow a fun web. I already read my kids the book that explains the story behind The Christmas Web and they were mesmerized and in awe and asking all kinds of questions about it. They are definitely excited about the prospect of waking up to this web of wonder throughout their house.

The story talks about how Elves watch the kids throughout the year so they know what they want for Christmas. I tied this into the Elf on the Shelf because we started that last year and they were asking if it's the same elf. It can get tricky but fun to combine traditions together!

The book is wonderfully written and magically illustrated and my kids are so excited about it that they keep asking me to read it. I read with my kids every day and so far it's been requested every day for the past month.

The Christmas Web is a truly unique holiday tradition that we look forward to starting this year and enjoying through the generations just like the Grinkmeyer family has!

I was SO happy to be chosen for this mission from Smiley360. This time of year everyone in my home is hacking and coughing due to allergies. I received the Little Pim French~ disc 1 Eating and Drinking CD for review.

I thought it would be great for my daughter since she is currently taking french in school and can use all the help she can get..lol

She has watched the DVD many times already and has already picked up some new words in french to share with her class when she gets back to to school. 

She says its fun to follow along and learn with Little Pim.
