  • A 5 gallon bag that holds up to 36 12-ounce cans and can fit a milk jug
  • The bag has a leak-proof liner and is machine washable to make it easy to clean after any unexpected spills
  • The bag is soft-sided allowing for flexibility inside any cabinet
  • The bag and all packaging is made from recyclable material, and the product is recyclable

Recycling Matters
Setting reusable products on their journey begins in the home~
The importance of recycling—the process of turning a product’s useful parts into a new product to ease the consumption of resources, energy and landfill space—certainly can’t be understated. Recycling a single plastic bottle not only saves hundreds of years in the landfill but also reduces the amount of oil used to produce a new bottle and the emissions created in producing it.

Of course, it all starts at home. No one said recycling would be easy, especially if you’re tight for space. But with a little effort and ingenuity, there’s no reason it needs to be difficult—even if you live in an apartment or have limited storage space for recycling. The key is managing recyclables inside your home prior to transferring them outside—whether it’s to another storage place or to the curb.

Tips for recycling:
• Recycling does require a degree of attention to detail on the part of the recycler. And cleanliness does count—rinsing your cans makes them easier to process, which keeps costs down (and also effectively neutralizes the smell factor in your kitchen).

• DO recycle: steel cans, aluminum cans, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, plastic beverage bottles, milk jugs, glass bottles and jars, cereal boxes, other clean and dry cardboard boxes. Probably NOT recyclable: plastic grocery bags, Styrofoam, light bulbs, food-soiled paper, wax paper, ceramics. (Check with your municipality or county for specifics, resources and guidelines.)

• Hazards: Household hazardous wastes like paint cans, motor oil, anti-freeze, car batteries and pesticides typically need to be disposed of separately. (Check online or with your municipality for resources and guidelines.)

• Hardware: Items such as computers, cell phones and even eyewear can be recycled or repurposed. Look online for local organizations that accept them (a host of retail stores across the country, for example, collect cell phones for donation or recycling).

• Food scraps: certain food waste can go into a composter (which could be located under the kitchen sink) and the results can be used later to help fertilize your garden soil. With other food products, choose a covered Rubbermaid Step-on Waste Can with its innovative easy-to-use step-on mechanism. (For composting dos and don’ts as well as a better understanding of composting in general, see compostingcouncil.org.)

Disclosure~ I received for FREE a Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler to review for this post. All opinions are my own. No other compensation was given or received in order to post my review of the product.

I just luv the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler! It has many uses not just for collecting recycled materials. My son has since taken the recycler to his room and now uses it to keep his room clean. The handles make it easy to hang from just about anywhere. The beg itself is easy to clean just toss in the washer. It does not loose its shape after being washed and looks brand new after each wash! The bag itself has a leak proof lining for any liquids that are left in the containers. The handle allows you to dump it and not have to touch the items. If you don't want to wash it, you can just wipe it out with a towel or cloth. I like that the bag is made from recycled materials. My family and I give the Rubbermaid hidden Recycler a 5 out of 5 rating. Its easy to assemble and hides out of site.

The Hidden Recycler is currently available for purchase online at Rubbermaid.com and in store at Meijer

The Germinator~ a Naturally Safe Way to Beat Germs ~Review and giveaway

Hands are car pools for germs, and little hands are not picky about who they attack!
Enter The Germinator: suddenly hands are safe to hold, kiss and to high-five another lovely day.

When the leaves begin to change color and the air becomes crisp, it is evident that a new season is upon us, and I’m not just talking about the fall or winter. Thats the unofficial mark the start of cold and flu season. For most parents, this is a cause for concern as Swine and Avian flu have been running rampant the last few years almost reaching pandemic status in this country. Luckily there are some basic all-natural and time-tested precautions that we should all be taking to help prevent this dreaded virus from afflicting ourselves, our families and most importantly our children this year.

One of the easiest ways to prevent getting sick is to keep your hands clean and germ-free. Constant washing and use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is not only a hassle, but it can also dry out your hands. BabyGanics ‘The Germinator’ Alcohol Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer effectively kills 99.9% of germs without the harsh side effects of alcohol and other synthetic chemicals. It instead utilizes benzalkonium chloride, a naturally safe and effective substance which makes The Germinator not only fast acting, but allows for use without water or towels, its non-flammable, will not stain your clothing, and definitely won’t dry out your skin. In fact, this non-toxic formula actually moisturizes as it cleans and is of course the best choice for even the tiniest fingers and hands.
~~~~~~~~~~~
BabyGanics ‘The Germinator’ Alcohol Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer is available in a fresh tangerine scent as well as a fragrance free variety and retails for $6.99 (250ml).
This product can be purchased online at http://www.babyganics.com/ and nationwide at all Babies R Us, Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby locations.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been using the BabyGanics "The Germinator" in the main bathroom. for almost a month.
It does not dry out my hands. Leaves them feeling soft, smooth and clean.
Its very easy to use~ Pump a small amount of foam into palm of hand.  Rub thoroughly over all surfaces of both hands.  Rub hands together briskly until dry.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BabyGanics has offered one of my readers their own the Germinator to fight away all those germs!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Giveaway~ 1 reader of Dnbuster's Place will win a travel size which is 50ml. Its fragrance free and retails for $3.99. It’s perfect for parents on the go, allowing them to quickly throw it in their bags to bring with them everywhere. To enter please complete the raffle copter entry form below.!

About the Author~
Lisa Tawn Bergren is the best-selling author of eight novels, three novellas, and two gift books, with more than a half-million books in print. God Gave Us You is her first children’s book. As an editor during the week and a writer on weekends, she makes her very-messy-but-cozy home in Colorado with her husband, Tim, and their daughters, Olivia and Emma.

Laura J. Bryant attended the Maryland Institute of Art, where she received a strong foundation in drawing, painting, and print-making. Illustrating children’s books has provided her with both a rewarding and creative career. Laura’s clients have included Simon & Schuster, McGraw Hill, and Stech-Vaughn publishers, among others. She currently lives among the tidal rivers on the eastern shore of Maryland with her loving husband and curiously cantankerous cat!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This book is just perfect... it is a very cute story of how a baby gets from heaven to the family... a small child (polar bear) is asking her mama where she came from and the reply is "God gave us you"... this goes from conception to birth without all the messy details that little ones just won't get, and You probably aren't ready to give... but it will apease the child for quite some time... also, the illustrations are just adorable...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

First, I wanna tell you that the shipping speed of eBags is AWESOME! These packing cubes arrived in a matter of hours from the time I ordered them. I ordered them one day and had them the very next day! Talk about Fast!!! These packing cubes are great to use for an over night trip or an extended stay at Grandmas house! I love this set of packing cubes. There is a size that is great for everything you may need when you are away from home! We travel a few times a year on our "Get away from it all" vacations. Those vacations are when we just decide we need a break from home and run away for a few days, usually on a long weekend or when every one just needs to unwind from school. These packing cubes were great for our last vacation! It has always been a struggle for me to pack. The hardest part about packing has been packing for my kiddos. They think that 1 outfit, swimsuit, pair of socks and a pair of undies will work for a week..:( This set of packing cubes has been a huge help. I used one cube for undies and socks and it keeps them all in placed wonderfully. I used another cube to hold their outfits and Pj's. The last cube was for my stuff:) I placed the outfits in the bags and zip them up and everything stayed in place from one destination to the next. Usually everything gets shuffled around and crinkled during the trip in the luggage. I don't have to worry about that. Everything is right where I put it. I love the colors and that they are vented to allow air to get into the bags.The packing cubes are lightweight and have easy to carry handles. When you are not using them they lay flat and are easy to store out of the way till you need them again! They weigh 12oz and are made of TechLite Diamond Nylon and have a Lifetime Warranty.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
eBags has many other sizes and shapes of their cubes! Check out eBags at their website HERE.
The cubes that I received for my review are on sale at this time for ONLY $20.99. Run on over to eBags and pick you up a set for your next vacation.
They come on many great colors!
Purex Triple Action Laundry Detergent~ Review
As a member of Purex Insiders I get to try and review new products from Purex from time to time! This time I was sent a FULL size bottle of the New Purex Triple Action Laundry Detergent Free and Clear to try and review!
Purex is rolling out a NEW Triple Action formula across the entire liquid detergent line. This new and improved triple action formula  delivers even better on Purex's promise to leave your clothes bright, white, and clean, and as always, for half the price of leading brands.
Over the past year scientists have been working hard to create an even better Purex formula. Not just a better formula but one that will continue to deliver the value that Purex stands for. The new Triple action formula is just that! Its an even better clean, for half the price of leading brands.
Beginning in early 2012 you can get your own sample to try the New Triple Action Purex. www.freesamplepurex.com
I love it when I receive full size bottle to review and not those little samples packages that most companies send you that wont even wash a load of clothes! The bottle I received was a full 50 Fl. Oz. of the Free and Clear formula. It is good for 33 loads of laundry!
As soon as the FedEx man dropped it off I knew what is was, I ripped open the box and ran straight to the laundry room! I had load of towels waiting in the washer for the new detergent and I was ready to try it out! I like using towels to test new detergents because if a detergent can clean your towels then its a great detergent!
My towels came out nice and clean. I liked that the towels smelled clean and didn't have the lingering smell of the detergent! note~ I also washed them with snuggle so they were good and soft! You know they are good and clean when the kiddos comment on how clean they are. All 3 of my gang commented that they liked the clean fresh not overpowering smell of their towels!
I like that the New Purex Triple Action is great for all machines including He machines.
The Free and Clear formula is Hypoallergenic for sensitive skin. It has been tested by dermatologists and is 100% free of perfumes and dyes!
I give the new formula a 5 out of 5!
Disclosure~Purex provided a free sample of their Triple Action laundry detergent so I could write a review. However, all of the opinions expressed here in this post are my own.
Renuzit® Fresh Accents Review
As a part of Purex Insiders I was given the chance to sample 2 new scents from Renuzit, the kit also included coupons to share with my family and friends! The scents were Festive Snow and Winter Berry! The Winter Berry smells wonderful! When company came over and mentioned the wonderful cherry smell I gave them a coupon so that they can get one to. I like that the scents have nice holders that fit in with the decor of my home and don't look like the usual air fresheners. I put the cherry one in my living room and the snow scent in the kiddos bathroom. The best part is the fresheners retail for around $2.50 at any store!
Renuzit brand provided free samples of Fresh Accents air freshener so I could review them. However, all of the opinions expressed here are my own.
Dr. Sears’ Zone™ Nutrition Shakes/shaker Review and Giveaway
What is the Zone Diet?
Surprisingly, it is not what you think. The Zone Diet is a way of life that helps you lose fat and increase wellness by reducing cellular inflammation. It's cellular inflammation that is the underlying cause of not only weight gain and the acceleration of chronic disease, but also the reason behind decreasing physical, emotional, and mental performance.
The Zone Diet was developed by Dr. Barry Sears, one of the world's leading authorities on the hormonal effects of food and their effect on cellular inflammation.
At Zone Labs they continue to create a number of unique dietary products that make it easier to follow the Zone Diet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
I was lucky enough review Dr. Sears’ Zone™ Nutrition Shakes - Sample Pack and shaker.

Delicious Zone Shakes serve as a tasty meal replacement, a healthy pre-workout snack or post workout recovery drink. Made with our Controlled Release Nutrition™ technology to stabilize blood sugar and conserve calories throughout the day, helping you to burn stored body fat as your primary fuel source instead of storing incoming calories as fat. The Zone allows you to stay fuller on fewer calories. When mixed with 8 ounces of 2% milk, Zone shakes are 310 calories.

Dr. Sears’ Zone™ Shaker Cup - 16 ounces (500 ml)

The best way to mix your Zone Shakes and take them on the go. The slightly larger diameter enables quicker mixing and washes more easily than taller, thin mixing cups. There is also a removable grate on the inside that makes the shake slightly frothy while helping to ensure all of the Zone Shake mix blends perfectly with the milk. The opening at the top of the cover makes it easy to drink straight from the cup while preventing any accidental spills.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was so glad to be able to get the shaker with the samples. The shaker makes it so easy to prepare the meal replacement shakes. It is simply open the package and mix it with 8oz of 2% milk and shake. Each meal replacement shake is only 310 calories. The sample package of the meal replacement shakes came with 3 flavors. The flavors are Strawberries n' cream, French vanilla and Milk Chocolate. The best part about the meal replacement shakes are they taste GREAT! I also like that they are Made with our Controlled Release Nutrition™ technology to stabilize blood sugar and conserve calories throughout the day. Each meal replacement shake has 16g high-quality protein, 4g of fiber and are vitamin fortified! Review~ The First Escape
List Price:19.99
ISBN:978-1-4143-1947-6
Trim Size:6 x 9
Binding:Hardcover
Release:September 2008
From the best-selling author of Shadowmancer comes an enthralling new series of illustra-novellas. The First Escape is the first book in the Dopple Ganger Chronicles, a six-book series following three children—Sadie and Saskia Dopple and Erik Morrissey Ganger. Sadie and Saskia are mischievous identical twins living at an orphanage, where Erik is their only friend. They are separated when Saskia is adopted by Muzz Elliott, a wealthy woman searching for her long-lost family treasure. While Saskia stumbles into the center of a crime only she can stop, Sadie and Erik embark on a quest to find her. This book is in an exciting new format called an “illustra-novella,” in which the story is told alternately in graphic novel format and plain text with occasional illustrations.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My Review~ My oldest son likes to read graphic novels so I thought this book would begreat for him. This book is a "novella". Its a mix between a novel and a graphic novel. This fast-paced, high-energy, intense story will keep readers turning pages faster than they ever have before. Twin sisters Sadie and Saskia team up with fellow orphan Erik to escape the drudgery of the orphanage. Along the way they discover dark secrets and a conspiracy that could separate the twins forever. The target audience is grades 4 - 7 and I would not encourage it for younger readers without a parent reading it first. There is subject matter that is more manageable for older readers but may be a bit scary for younger ones. The intensity in the plot is relieved by humour that appeals directly to this age range (there is a stuffed donkey bottom involved - need I say more?) While at times I found the jump from novel to comic a bit hard to follow, my reluctant reader made the leap seamlessly and caught the visual story details that I often missed. The First Escape introduces spiritual themes and the author has left room to expand these themes in the coming books.

Thanks to Tyndale for a chance to get my child to review a book that he actually read!

Review~ Unsinkable

Book Description The stirring narrative of Unsinkable** tells 16-year-old Abby Sunderland’s remarkable true story of attempting to become the youngest person ever to sail solo around the world.

More people have flown into outer space than have sailed solo around the globe. It is a challenge so immense that many have died trying, and all have been pushed beyond every physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual limit. In Unsinkable, readers follow Abby Sunderland into those depths. This biography delivers a gripping and evocative firsthand account that starts prior to her departure, travels through her daring (and sometimes near-death) encounters on the open sea, to her dramatic rescue in the remotest corner of the Indian Ocean, and the media explosion that happened upon her safe return to dry land.

Along the way, readers discover what it means to boldly face any challenge, to strive after something great, and to plumb the depths of faith, fear, and desperation only to emerge changed, renewed, and emboldened. In this day and age, when the most productive thing a teenager may do is play videogames, Abby’s ambition and tenacity is a real-life parable of what can happen when we choose to exceed our own limits and strive after what all the naysayers say is impossible.

**This title does not contain the amount of faith-focused content as many other books offered on BookSneeze.com. If you prefer Christian Living titles featuring a large amount of faith-centered content, Unsinkable is probably not the best selection for you.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Review~ This book was an interesting view in to what Abby went thru day to day to be the youngest person to sail solo around the world! It starts before she leaves and goes all the way to her return to dry land. If you like true stories this is the book for you!
About Yanni~ In Kalamata, on the shores of the Mediterranean, Yanni was born in 1954 to Sotiri and Felitsa Chryssomallis. The second of three children, Yanni has an older brother and a younger sister. Sharing a deep-rooted love of music, the family spent much of their time playing and singing together. Yanni's parents provided a typical Greek life for the young boy. He grew up fishing, swimming, and going to school like every other boy in his town, with one exception. Yanni was born to compose music. He began to play the piano at age six, but he refused formal piano lessons. As a child, Yanni heard music in his head and he simply wanted to hear it come out of the piano too, so he needed to learn how to play to make that happen. He felt a certain freedom with the keys that might have been crushed under the weight of structured learning. Music was not Yanni's only talent. In 1969, at the age of 14, Yanni broke the Greek National swimming record for the men's 50-meter freestyle event. Although he could have pursued this skill, he chose to travel a different path; one which eventually led him to share his musical gift with the world. His childhood in Greece and his love for his native country gave Yanni his inspiration to compose such songs as "Santorini," "Nostalgia," and "Acroyali." In 1972, with the encouragement of his parents, Yanni left his homeland to attend the University of Minnesota. Between his studies, he played in local rock and roll bands and began to develop his personal musical style using both piano and electronic keyboards to create new sounds. Yanni single-mindedly continued to pursue his passion for creating music. He explored the worlds of electronic music, new sounds and instruments, and composition. He released 2 albums and worked on a third before moving to Hollywood, the film industry capital, where he recorded 4 film scores and released 3 more albums. He also re-released "Optimystique." In 1990, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra accompanied Yanni in concert, adding a new dimension to his unique style and a prelude of things to come. His more recent tour, Yanni Voices: Live in Concert, in 2009 was a big success. Touring all over North America with sold out shows including Radio City Music Hall and full houses throughout Mexico. The tour was nominated for the prestigious Lunas del Auditorio award and was in support of Yanni's Mexican chart topping release: Yanni Voces (CD) and Yanni Voices (CD). Yanni Voces reached #1 on the Mexican Pop Charts and #2 on the over all Mexican Music Charts. A recent DVD release of Yanni Voices: Live in Concert reached Amazon's number one best seller list within the first week of sales and was a fundraising success for PBS. Yanni has proven to have been blessed with both faith and passion in abundance.
My review~
This is a very good Yanni album and shows signs of some growth. Much of the album sounds very "Yanni", but he has updated his sound with deeper bass lines and some synthesizer arpeggios here and there, and a few more modern tricks. It's not overdone and it works. He doesn't lose his signature sound admist all of this, which many artists do when they try this kind of thing. It does take a few listens for the differences in the tracks to come through, and after a few times through some of the songs take on their own character. There are a few tracks with vocals, and a few live instruments here and there, but it's mostly Yanni and the keyboards. It plays a bit like a "best of" album, yet all of the tracks are new. Definitely worth a try if you know you already like Yanni's music. Thanks to the one2onenetwork for allowing me the chance to review the new album!
Review~ The Fight of Our Lives
The Fight of Our Lives
Knowing the Enemy, Speaking the Truth, and Choosing to Win the War Against Radical Islam
By William Bennett with Seth Leibsohn
Published by Thomas Nelson
Book Description
Want to know the dirty little secret in the war on terror? Some of us have already surrendered.
Since the dreadful events of 9/11, America has waged an international war on terrorism. But are we prepared to win, or are we practicing surrender? We have foiled dozens of terrorist attacks since then. But while the Fort Dix terrorists were stopped, an Islamist terrorist at Fort Hood unleashed hell on American servicemen. Despite Maj. Nidal Hasan’s shouting “Allahu Akbar” as he pulled the trigger, the official Pentagon report refused to mention Islam or use the word Muslim. And said the army chief of staff, “As horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that's worse.” As William J. Bennett and Seth Leibsohn show, for lack of clarity, conviction, and determination, America is on the verge of declaring preemptive cultural surrender in the war on terror. The Fight of Our Lives will reinvigorate the discussion and embolden those who wish to win the war on terror.
Review~ This book was very interesting! I dont usually read political science books but this one sounded interesting. This book is a awake up call for those who think we are safe and secure in our nation. The book sounds a wakeup call alerting America to the danger in our midst. The authors weave three primary goals throughout the book. The first is to be clear about whom they describe is our enemy. Using current events, quotes from journalists, politicians, and military leaders, the authors describe the nature and goals of radical Islam. The second goal is to generate some anger. Not rage or violence, but rather an anger that forces a certain clarity. Their third goal is to call people to rediscover their American heritage. By regaining these three things, the authors believe we can win this war.
I would like to thank Book Sneeze, a division of Thomas Nelson for giving me a complementary copy of this book to read and write this review.
Patrick and Beth learn that Mr. Whittaker’s fancy ring can be seen inside the Imagination Station but not outside of the machine. At the Roman Colosseum, Emperor Honorius is hosting a gladiator battle in celebration of a war victory. Beth attends the event as the emperor’s slave; Patrick attends as a monk’s apprentice but is taken prisoner and sent to fight in the arena. During their adventure, the cousins meet Telemachus (a true historical figure), a monk who believes that fighting is wrong. Telemachus is willing to risk everything—even his life—to stop the killing. When the cousins return with the cup, they find that a third letter has been sent with more information about Albert’s fate.
Review~ This book is recommended for ages 7 and up and a grade level of 2.3. I gave it to my youngest son to read and he read it with in a couple of days! Hi liked it so much he wants me to get more of the series! The vocabulary was simple for him to understand but the book contained a lot of historically accurate details about 5th century Rome. The book didn't overstate the historical details so it kept my son intrested. This book was a fun introduction to these historical concepts without having to pull out a history book. My son gave it a 5 out of 5 stars!
Review~ I gave this book to my daughter cuz she has her first boyfriend and I want her to understand that just because a boy asks her to do something, this doesn't mean she has to. I want her to respect her body and save it till marriage. The author quotes Scripture every now and then and goes over hot-button topics that most people would blush at. I thought this would be a great book to open up a dialog with her and talk about any question she may have about sex and the consequences of having sex at a young age and before marriage. The book opened up hers eyes to sex and many other topics. I absolutely recommend it to young women who may have questions! Its a great book to undserstand why god wants you to save yourself for the right one!
Review
This was a really good read! I was excited to get it and start reading ~ and it was easy to follow and read. It is set up with questions that are posed to God and then answered by God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and various other bible figures. I enjoyed the questions and felt they were questions that many Christians find themselves pondering at some point in their walk with God. I also liked that the author did not try to explain questions from his understanding of the bible but actually backed them up with scripture. When asked “How do we know the Bible is accurate?” there are 17 references to actual scripture to answer this question. This is a great book to help you along your daily walk with God.
